Dear Senator (Name) or Dear Representative (Name):
My name is (Your Name) and I live in (City, State, Zip).
I write to respectfully object to electoral votes for Donald Trump. United States intelligence agencies have unanimously agreed that Russia intervened in our election to help Trump. To count his electoral votes would go against our entire system of justice. It would threaten the autonomy of our country and the integrity of our democracy.
I ask that our Representatives and Senators object to electoral votes cast for Trump AND Pence during the Joint Session of Congress on January 6, 2017. None of their electoral votes should be counted because Russian interference tainted the entire election process to their advantage. Under Article 12 of the Constitution, the House and Senate should elect the only remaining candidates with legitimate electoral votes – Hillary Clinton as President and Tim Kaine as Vice-President.
Thank you for your time and consideration, I appreciate and respect the important role you serve for our Nation.
